Alaska Bouldering Guide

Alaska is home to nearly endless undeveloped bouldering and a growing amount of developed bouldering.  This book, the first ever guidebook to bouldering in Alaska, will introduce over 15 bouldering areas from Juneau to Fairbanks and document 835 problems in full detail with high quality color photographs of nearly every boulder.

Surrounded by alpine tundra and sky-scraping peaks, the boulders in Alaska offer everything a boulderer could desire, from roadside beginner venues to ex-touched alpine adventure bouldering. Since the 1970’s, climbers in Alaska have been bouldering and while much of the history has been forgotten and lost, what remains is a legacy for everyone to enjoy.
